As many of our subscribers noticed. The blue notice that appears on our home page, my account, and checkout are there to help ensure that your order does not get cancelled and refunded due to the checkout bug. It turns out that with most web browsers, the cache stored on your computer allowed the bug to persist. We don’t know the exact specifics as to why, but we do know that clearing out your cache returns things to normal.
The notice will be removed soon, however if you have an order that you think should be cancelled and refunded. More specifically, an order that is missing shipping details that we missed. Please contact us as soon as possible. Orders ship out in waves and we have, to the best of our abilities, filtered out and refunded what we think is all orders. If your order hasn’t already been refunded, it may take a few days, possibly a week or two, for us to catch the order and refund it. We do not want to keep those who are effected waiting.
Quick update on Shipping. Due to unforeseen circumstances some orders might be delayed for a few more days. We truly apologize for the inconvenience as we are sure it is frustrating. Please understand. We appreciate your patience and rest assure we are already in the works to make shipping so much faster.
We have contacted a third party company that solely focuses on shipping out subscriptions boxes on behalf of companies. This means we have less on our plate and your orders get to you sooner.
We are doing quite a bit of restructuring throughout the next few weeks. Rest assured great things are coming your way. Again we are truly sorry about the delay and thanks for being such good and loyal customers.
After the initial problem, that involved new users not being able to order subscriptions, being fixed. A new problem arose. Thankfully this issue has been fixed in a few days. compared to the original 6 months it took to fix the original problem.
Long story short, the recent update broke international shipping logic, causing international orders to have ‘free’ shipping. Even though in checkout shipping cost was stated, but never added. To the few orders that made it through, it’s still not determined if we should honor them. It’s a difficult decision, but we’re leaning on refunding and cancelling orders.
Finally, it appears we have reached a climax, and there are no more bugs in sight [for now]. But hopefully we can get back on track in improving our state.
After months of frustration and weeks of testing, the finalized update to solve our problem went live! We’d like to give credit to the good folks in charge of our subscription management system, ProssPress Inc., for working with us (and tolerating us) until they found a solution. Although admittedly the bug turned out much bigger than they originally planned, it’s just good to know that this can finally be put behind us!

As many of our customers have found out, we are still experiencing trouble with our checkout. This is due, unfortunately, to a bug that has snowballed its way into a much bigger problem than originally expected. As of the time of this posting, we do not have a set date on when normal subscriptions will be available. We have word from our service providers lead developers that multiple teams are working on finding a solution and will tell us when an acceptable solution has been found. However, do not be alarmed! Current subscribers are safe from this bug, as long as they do not cancel. And it also does not mean you’ll miss out on future months PokeCrates!
We have created a workaround, with involves buying only one months subscription every month. Yes, this does involved adding the product to your cart, and checking out every month we make it available. However, our goal is to provide a generous window to buy a monthly PokeCrate without having to worry that you’ll be missing out. Be sure to check back every month between the 5th and 25th, for an update on the newest PokeCrate to purchase!
With that said, we hope you can understand this workaround and find it an acceptable means of providing our service to you!
To make it clear as well, this bug only affects our subscription product: PokeCrate Subscription. This bug does not affect any other products and checkout will work normally.
UPDATE February 12, 11:34 AM Pacific (2:34 PM EST): We have received an update from our developers, and are currently testing a new update. Although I have confirmed the update does fix our issue, we can not update to the live version until the green light is given. This update may be live within the next couple of weeks. This update will be temporary, as our plugin developers have to collaborate to rebuild some core programs to ensure they remain compatible in the future.
